Underground: Storytelling Without Borders
Born in Buenos Aires and bred to break the mold, Underground is a powerhouse production company known for fearless storytelling that cuts deep, crosses cultures, and defies convention.
Since 2006, we’ve been rewriting the rules of television. As a division of NBCUniversal Telemundo Studios, Underground is helmed by visionary creators Sebastián Ortega and Pablo Culell, who have relentlessly pushed the boundaries of Argentine fiction. From cult hits like Lalola and Los exitosos Pells to critically acclaimed phenomena like El marginal, our work blends cinematic craft with cultural relevance and raw emotional truth.
We don’t just create content. We build worlds that challenge, connect, and endure.
